Digital Media & Information Literacies
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news that marks a new chapter in my professional journey! After presenting my project concepts at a recent eTwinning conference in Weimar, I received an unexpected but deeply appreciated invitation from German colleagues who were inspired by my ideas. As a result, I have been selected to take part in the Erasmus+ SciLMi BIT teacher training course “Digital Media & Information Literacies for Effective Democratic Citizens.” This unique opportunity includes a virtual kick-off on July 17, an on-site week in Munich (September 1–5), and a virtual follow-up in October. The course is designed to explore how we, as educators, can teach meta-scientific literacies and empower students to think critically in a world flooded with misinformation. For me and my eTwinners, this means access to fresh methods, new European connections, and inspiring ways to promote democratic values through collaborative learning. I’m incredibly grateful for this recognition and excited to bring all the insights and resources back to my eTwinners, colleagues, and international partners.
