When Comics Speak Louder Than Words...

UNITED IN MINORITY / ENDANGERED LANGUAGES – An International Comic Adventure!

What happens when teens from different countries come together to co-create stories without borders? You get a powerful mix of creativity, cultural insight, and laughter – all wrapped up in a comic strip!

In our international project UNITED IN MINORITY / ENDANGERED LANGUAGES, students from Spain, Malta, Gran Canaria and various Ukrainian cities teamed up to create comic stories that matter.

The twist? Every team added a part to the comic without knowing the full story – just a hint from the group before them. The most exciting part was trying to guess what the previous team had in mind — like a creative chain reaction across borders!

The topics came straight from the hearts and minds of the students, and touched on:

Endangered languages and regional dialects
Minority cultures and heritage in partner countries
Women's voices and empowerment in Europe

Each comic is more than just drawings — it's a voice for the voiceless, a tribute to identity, and a celebration of the stories we almost forget.

And there's more to come! We’re currently working on a digital comic book to be released on the European Book Day — a collection of our best comic creations that tell stories from different corners of Europe through the eyes of its youth.

These comics may be short, but their funny message will stay with you for a long time.
