LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition project. eTwinning Session for Ss. LifeSkills. Survival Mode: ON

eTwinning Session for Ss. LifeSkills. Survival Mode: ON

In exactly this kind of atmosphere, a training session for teams of teenagers and teachers took place at the TANDEM Youth Centre. The event was organised by the eTwinners of the MERRYBOX team from Marhanets Lyceum No. 10. It was a true space of trust, a place where everyone could be themselves, make mistakes, try new things, speak openly, and act together. We talked about skills that matter not only at school but also in real life, where there are no “right” or “wrong” answers, only personal experience, individual opinions, and the courage to express them. Participants learned to be active, open, and supportive of one another, because this is how real team strength is built and self-confidence grows. The training programme combined energy, depth, and humour. The icebreaker “My Superpower: Chaos Management” helped break the barriers. A mini-presentation “Life Is a Project  and Yes, It Has Deadlines Too” set the tone for reflecting on personal choices. The team activity “STORM IN A BOX” trained cooperation under pressure and challenges. The pitching session “Sell Us Your Genius” encouraged participants to believe in their own ideas, while “Deep Talk Light” turned a short discussion into a meaningful conversation about what truly matters. A special highlight was the final part, where each team nominated its members for symbolic awards such as “Chief Chaos Manager,” “Idea Machine,” “Procrastination Master (recovering),” and “Team Wizard.” These fun nominations celebrated everyone’s strengths, sense of humour, and unique personality. The training was moderated by Yana Tsykunkova, the coordinator and eTwinning Ambassador, as part of the activities within the project LEVEL UP_Lifeskill Vibe, while the school’s eTwinners facilitated the work of four mixed-age groups. This day became a small, yet very confident step towards resilience, self-awareness, and that powerful inner feeling: “I can handle it” even in the most difficult circumstances.
