eTwinning Project SUSTAINABLE JOURNEY: Discovering Traditions, Connecting Cultures

A journey into roots, identity, and living traditions

Within the project SUSTAINABLE JOURNEY, students explored the richness of Ukrainian national traditions and local identity, not as a theory, but as a living experience. They dived into the world of agriculture, traditional cuisine, crafts, folk art, national clothing, games, and celebrations etc, discovering how culture is shaped by everyday life and passed from generation to generation. Working in international teams, students didn’t just collect information — they collaborated, discussed, compared cultures, and created together. Their ideas and discoveries turned into presentations for the international project magazine, where every voice mattered and every culture found its place. This was more than research. It was teamwork, creativity, and intercultural dialogue in action. Students learned to see traditions not as something from the past, but as a sustainable bridge to the future, something to preserve, share, and be proud of. Sustainable journey is meaningful learning, real connections, and cultural pride.

eTwinning Project DISCOVERING CULTURES THROUGH LANGUAGES

Ukraine Tastes! Ukraine smells, tastes, and feels like home

Within our project DISCOVERING CULTURES THROUGH LANGUAGES, students explored the most authentic and beloved recipes of Ukrainian cuisine ,  not just by learning, but by experiencing. It was more than a workshop. It was a journey into culture. From the rich аромат of freshly cooked borscht to the sweet comfort of varenyky with cherries, every dish told a story. The room was filled with the smell of homemade bread, warm spices, and laughter. Students didn’t just cook, they created, shared, and connected. They worked together, discovered traditions, and brought recipes to life with their own hands. And of course, the best part, tasting! Every bite became a moment of discovery, every flavor, a piece of Ukrainian identity. This activity showed that food is more than nutrition, it is memory, culture, and a language that everyone understands.
