CAROLING IN UKRAINE

В день католицького Різдва учасники творчої групи НВК «Ліцей № 10» вирішили привітати своїх партнерів по проекту «Christmas and New Year traditions» невеличкою виставою. Звичайно, учні не є акторами, але щедрували від щирого серця, щоб передати колорит українського Різдва, яке в Україні святкують 7 січня. 

Singing Carols with our Partners from Warsaw

12.21.2015. The  group of my Ss, which takes part in the project «Christmas and New Year Traditions», sang carols with the Polish project partners from Warsaw per SKYPE. The children were happy to greet each other, introduce themselves told some interesting things about their countries, cultures, customs. Although the Ss were a little bit shy, they sang merryly then. They also sang New Year songs in Polish and Ukrainian, the children talked about Christmas food, gifts, Christmas tree at schools and future holidays. The children are going to chat after the holidays again. We are going to communicate with other partners as well.

We'll have a video conference with our partners from Poland. We are going to sing carols together. All the participants are welcome!

МИ ОТРИМАЛИ ЛИСТА ЗІ СЛОВЕНІІ ПОШТОЮ

 

We were very glad to receive the letter per post. We didn't expect to receivе it so soon. It was a letter from Slovenia. 

  We are going to send our Christmas cards to our partners to Romania, Poland, Bolgaria and Italy on December, 21. Our cards are hand-made and very nice.

Дякуючи моїм талановитим учням, як керівник проектів Christmas and New Year Traditions; Me. My Family and Friends., я отримала ДИПЛОМ за активну участь у проектах, в яких ми зареєстровані з жовтня 2015 року. Також ПОДЯКУ отримала адміністрація НВК "Ліцею № 10" за підтримку нашої діяльності. Сподіваюсь, ми завершимо роботу над проектом успішно та займемо достойне місце в рейтингу шкіл-учасників проектів. МОЇ УЧНІ ВАРТІ ЦЬОГО!
У захід також були включені цікаві творчі майстерні для обміну досвідом, цікаві обговорення найкращих проектів у колі однодумців.

SITUATIONAL TASKS TO MASTER MODERN TEACHING OF ENGLISH

If we want to give the younger generation a chance to be a successful citizen, it is important to define the key comprehensions which should involve the students into active collaborating: the ability to cooperate, communicate, solve problems, the ability to organize their work,use modern information and other technologies.

Situational tasks are to integrate the knowledge gained from different subjects. They can provide the wide educational space to the child. Solving some situational problems bases on attracting students, achieving some  educational targets, preparing for real life, mastering language skills, identifying some information, creative use their knowledge.

 Situational task is a task, which allows the student to develop their personal abilities, doing the informational activities: introduction - understanding - application - analysis - synthesis - evaluation.

Situational tasks are practical activities, connected with general knowledge. They often require some knowledge from different brunches of school curriculum. Besides, these activities include only attractive names but content. The Ss have to find out the problem, form in into the task and do it, solving this problem.

The Model of Situational Problem

1. The activity.

2. Personal issues.

3. Another format of the task (text, tables, graphs, statistics, etc.).

4. Activities due to this task.

 Doing such kinds of tasks the Ss have an opportunity to develop their personal skills, using their general knowledge, their ability to explain some real life circumstances, find out the treasures of world sciences culture and techniques, be ready to choose their future profession correctly, collaborate with different people etc.
