Project "Diversity is our Wealth"

The project focuses on promoting inclusion, diversity, IT transformation, environmental sustainability, and school participation in democratic life of communities. Our goal is to celebrate the richness of diversity within European schools, where students from various physical, national, linguistic, emotional, and cultural backgrounds come together. This diversity is viewed as a shared heritage of humanity that we aim to explore with our students.

Key Aspects:

  • Inclusion and Diversity: The project encourage students with different abilities to appreciate and respect differences across various points: nationality, language, culture, and emotional perspective by engaging in activities designed to celebrate their diversity.
  • IT Transformation: We integrate technology, particularly through virtual collaboration, enabling students from partner countries to work together, exchange ideas, and explore new digital tools to enhance their learning experience.
  • Environment and Climate Action: A major focus is on educating students about environmental conservation and climate change, promoting the importance of sustainability.
  • Democratic Participation: Students are engaged in discussions and activities to promote active citizenship, allowing them to understand the importance of democracy and their role in shaping a more inclusive society.

Subjects Involved:

  • Art, Religion, Social Studies, IT, History, and Ecology are the core subjects through which we explore human dignity and diversity. These subjects offer a range of interdisciplinary approaches to foster critical thinking and creativity.

Bilingual Format:

The project is conducted in both English and German, promoting multilingualism and providing students with the opportunity to strengthen their language skills.

Student Age Range:

The project l engages students aged 10 to 17 from various partner countries, ensuring a broad spectrum of experiences and perspectives to enrich the learning experience for all involved.

This initiative is designed to foster a deeper understanding of our shared values and create a space where students can explore the concept of human dignity through diverse points.
