eTwinning проєкт DECIDE AND DRIVE_Lifeskill Jam

Decide to Lead

Some meetings stay in our memories forever, but some find a special place deep in our hearts. That is exactly how these seven days of our educational visit within the eTwinning youth mobility project DECIDE AND DRIVE_Lifeskill Jam and the May activity Decide to Lead will remain for us. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank our amazing German partners from the Gymnasium in Neumünster for their warmth, kindness, care, openness and for all the love and effort they put into organizing this unforgettable experience. For the eTwinner team MERRYBOX from Marganets Lyceum No. 10, this journey became much more than just an educational visit. We are coming home not only with new knowledge and ideas, but with emotions, inspiration, memories and people who became truly special to us during these days. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity and financial support that made it possible for four representatives of our team to take part in this mobility. For us, it means much more than a trip. It is about trust, support, friendship and the feeling that international cooperation can truly bring people together. A very special thank you goes to the wonderful colleagues, students and eTwinners of the Neumünster Gymnasium, as well as to the families who opened not only their homes but also their hearts to us. Because of you, these days felt warm, sincere and unforgettable. These days were filled with meaningful conversations, creativity and incredibly productive cooperation. Together we conducted interviews with project participants for the final guest video book, involved parents in joint activities, cooked traditional national dishes together, shared traditions, ideas and many happy moments side by side. We will also never forget our walks along the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, the beautiful streets and atmosphere of Neumünster, Kiel, Laboe, Hamburg and Büsum, the evening talks, the laughter and the feeling of friendship without borders. For the founder of the project and coordinator of the visit, Yana Tsykunkova, this mobility also became a wonderful opportunity to present the work of eTwinners not only from Marhanets Lyceum No. 10, but from all of Ukraine to new friends and partners working with young people from Brazil and Denmark. It was also a great chance to build new professional connections with colleagues interested in future cooperation and international projects. We are returning home with deep gratitude. And the most valuable part of this journey for us is people, sincere connections, support and the feeling that even in difficult times the world is still held together by kindness, openness and humanity. Thank you for every day together, every smile, every conversation, every shared moment and for supporting Ukraine. These memories will stay with us for a very long time.

eTwinning Project LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition

LIFESKILLS INSIGHTS

We are happy to present the final educational product of our project – the LifeSkills Handbook. After carefully analysing the project results, students' reflections, and the feedback of students, teachers, and parents, we selected, improved, and organised the most effective activities into one practical resource. It is ready to support teachers, facilitators, trainers, youth workers, schools, communities, and future eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects. The reflection questions in this LifeSkills Handbook are not created after the project. They are intentionally embedded into every activity of LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition as expected learning outcomes. Throughout the expedition, students develop these LifeSkills through workshops, training sessions, collaborative challenges, and international teamwork, where every activity is designed, tested, refined, and proven effective in authentic learning situations. At the end of the project, students answer the same questions as their final reflection. Their responses confirm that the expected outcomes become real competences, providing clear evidence of the project's practical impact. Based on the feedback of students, teachers, and parents, the most effective activities are selected and presented in this LifeSkills Handbook. A unique feature of the project is the continuous use of QR codes. Throughout the expedition, students document speeches, audio reflections, stories, and collaborative products using QR codes. This idea continues in this handbook, where QR codes connect activities, reflections, voices, and learning evidence, allowing the project to live on beyond its official end. This LifeSkills Handbook is the project's final educational product and its most sustainable form of dissemination. It provides ready-to-use, student-tested activities for teachers, youth workers, trainers, schools, community organisations, and future Erasmus+ or eTwinning projects, ensuring that the project's impact continues to inspire and develop LifeSkills beyond the expedition.

eTwinning Project Our Sustainable Journey Through Time and Cultures

Can the wisdom of the past help us build a better future? We believe it can

A sustainable future is built when young people learn not only about the world, but with the world. Throughout our project, students, teachers, families, local communities, and international partners created one learning space where curiosity, collaboration, and respect for diversity turned every activity into a meaningful experience.
History, Science, Geography, ICT, and English came together as students explored the evolution of transport from the past to the present. Working in international teams, they researched traditional and modern means of transport, compared their environmental impact, discussed advantages and challenges, and exchanged thoughtful comments with their partners. They discovered that sustainable mobility is not only about technology, it is about making responsible choices together.
Looking back at our roots helped us move forward. Through Geography, Biology, History, and Environmental Education, students explored traditional farming techniques from Southern Ukraine. Parents, grandparents, local farmers, and community members shared their experience, showing that many environmentally friendly agricultural practices existed long before sustainability became a global goal.
Home Economics, Chemistry, English, and Cultural Studies came alive while students presented authentic regional cuisine. Families became our co-teachers, sharing recipes, traditions, and stories about seasonal food, local ingredients, and responsible consumption. Together with our European partners, students discovered how food connects cultures while encouraging sustainable lifestyles.
Through Art, History, Technology, and Mathematics, students explored Ukrainian embroidery, traditional ornaments, and local crafts. Community artisans and family members explained the symbolism, patterns, and techniques behind handmade creations, helping students understand that preserving cultural heritage is also an act of sustainability.
History, Literature, Geography, ICT, and Civic Education inspired students to discover the historical heritage of Marhanets and Ukraine. Working alongside teachers, parents, and local historians, they collected stories, photographs, and memories, transforming local history into digital presentations that celebrated both national identity and Europe's rich cultural diversity.
Creativity united every stage of our journey. Through Art, ICT, Design, English, and Media Literacy, students collaboratively designed the project logo, introduced their teams, schools, the city of Marhanets, and Ukraine, and created presentations and digital materials that proudly represented their community on the international stage.
Every activity reflected the true spirit of eTwinning. Students learned from one another across borders, gave constructive feedback, compared ideas, solved problems together, and celebrated both similarities and differences. Teachers collaborated across subjects, families became active learning partners, and local communities generously shared their knowledge and traditions, making education authentic and meaningful.
Above all, our project was rooted in shared European values: cooperation, inclusion, democracy, cultural diversity, environmental responsibility, and mutual respect. By connecting local heritage with global challenges, students developed not only subject knowledge but also communication, digital, multilingual, critical-thinking, and citizenship competences that will guide them far beyond the classroom.
This journey reminded us that sustainability is much more than protecting nature. It is preserving traditions while embracing innovation, strengthening communities while building international friendships, and understanding that every culture has something valuable to contribute to our common future.

SKOLA+Цінності для молоді / Values. Soft Skills. Life Skills

Англійська мова. Цінності для молоді / Values. Soft Skills. Life Skills
