eTwinning Project LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition

LIFESKILLS INSIGHTS

We are happy to present the final educational product of our project – the LifeSkills Handbook. After carefully analysing the project results, students' reflections, and the feedback of students, teachers, and parents, we selected, improved, and organised the most effective activities into one practical resource. It is ready to support teachers, facilitators, trainers, youth workers, schools, communities, and future eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects. The reflection questions in this LifeSkills Handbook are not created after the project. They are intentionally embedded into every activity of LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition as expected learning outcomes. Throughout the expedition, students develop these LifeSkills through workshops, training sessions, collaborative challenges, and international teamwork, where every activity is designed, tested, refined, and proven effective in authentic learning situations. At the end of the project, students answer the same questions as their final reflection. Their responses confirm that the expected outcomes become real competences, providing clear evidence of the project's practical impact. Based on the feedback of students, teachers, and parents, the most effective activities are selected and presented in this LifeSkills Handbook. A unique feature of the project is the continuous use of QR codes. Throughout the expedition, students document speeches, audio reflections, stories, and collaborative products using QR codes. This idea continues in this handbook, where QR codes connect activities, reflections, voices, and learning evidence, allowing the project to live on beyond its official end. This LifeSkills Handbook is the project's final educational product and its most sustainable form of dissemination. It provides ready-to-use, student-tested activities for teachers, youth workers, trainers, schools, community organisations, and future Erasmus+ or eTwinning projects, ensuring that the project's impact continues to inspire and develop LifeSkills beyond the expedition.

  4. As a parent, I would like to thank the founders of LEVEL UP: LifeSkills Expedition for inviting parents to be part of this project. It is great to see my daughter answer the reflection questions after practising these skills in workshops and project activities. I enjoy listening to her audio recordings and scanning the QR codes because they show her real progress. I can see that she communicates better, works well with others, and is more confident. Thank you for creating a project where parents and children learn and grow together.

  5. It has been wonderful to see how this project brought students, teachers, and parents together. Our students were excited to share what they learned, and many activities continued at home through conversations and reflection. We noticed that they became more confident, worked better with others, and started thinking more carefully before making decisions. It was great to feel involved in the project, not just as parents, but as partners in our students' learning. We are especially thankful for the opportunity this project gave students from a frontline school to learn, grow, socialise, and connect with peers from other countries. These experiences mean so much to our families and give our students hope, confidence, and motivation for the future. The LifeSkills Handbook is a valuable result because it brings together the best ideas and experiences from everyone. Thank you for creating a project where families, schools, and international partners help young people learn, grow, and believe in themselves.
